We rarely use fabric lining, and only for technical reasons. Depending on the size of the bag, Olbrish shoulder and handbags come with open pockets, zippered compartments, and, when possible, a smartphone pocket and/or key holder.
Caring for Nappa Leather, Nubuck Leather, and Woven Horsehair
Proper care is key to maintaining the beauty and longevity of your Olbrish handbag.
- Nappa Leather: Our German nappa leather is velvety to the touch and easy to clean. Use a colorless care product, but avoid shoe polish. We recommend a colorless beeswax-based leather care product—feel free to ask us for advice.
- Nubuck Leather: Our Italian nubuck leather is impregnated at the tannery. Over time, this protection may wear off; when it does, use a colorless specialty spray for nubuck leather, available at most fine shoe stores.
- Woven Horsehair: This material is very durable and dirt-resistant. Any loose hair ends can be trimmed with nail scissors.
- Fish Leather: Fish leather is robust and dirt-resistant. Clean it with mild soapy water.
